Welcome, friends to the first ever Fandom Knitting & Crochet Gift-Along! We are so excited to knit and crochet all these fabulous, gifty projects with fellow crafters to keep us company (and accountable) as we march toward the holiday season.

What you’ll find here is a basic guide to getting started and taking part in all the fun. We’ve got the master schedule of all the knitting and crochet projects. We’ve also got some tips on how to participate along the way.

The main goal of all of this is to have fun making gifts with your yarn-y friends. So, always feel free to work ahead, fall behind, skip projects, make extras, and so on. This is a “no real rules” zone.

Getting Started with the Gift-Along

  1. The first thing you’ll want to do is make sure that you are part of our online community over on facebook. That’s where you will be able to really interact and share with other gift-alongers. So, if you haven’t already join that group, you can do so right here: Fandom Knitting + Crochet Facebook Group
  2. Are you signed up for the email newsletter? That is where I’ll send of updates and progress reports as we go along. So, if you haven’t already done that, drop your email in right here: JOIN THE GIFT-ALONG NOW!

2019 FKC Gift-Along Schedule

Well…we are tackling a lot of projects here. 10 Knitting Projects and/or 10 Crochet Projects. If you are ambitious, however, you’ll have 10 awesome gifts by the end of this journey. So…without further ado…here are the projects we’ll tackle.

Some of the patterns are my designs, some are from other designers. Most are free, and if not, we have a special discount code for the paid patterns! So, you might want to hang tight on purchasing anything until we get closer and I’ll send out those coupon codes via email before that project is up. 🙂

The knitting projects and schedule are first – keep scrolling for the crochet projects and schedule.
